The Platypus Jar Tester and DAF Test Accessories were developed by renowned water industry engineer Bill Day, who designed and commissioned many of Australia’s water treatment plants. Platypus Analytics is now led by Process Control Engineer Colin Millen, who worked alongside Bill on engineering projects for approximately three decades.
With more than 40 years of process-control engineering experience across water treatment and related industries, Colin brings extensive practical knowledge to Platypus Analytics. This experience supports informed conversations with customers about equipment selection, testing objectives and the effective ongoing use of Platypus equipment.
