Each station can be configured for controlled stages of mixing and timing, allowing multiple conditions to be assessed within the same test program. Clear controls and status information help operators run and document repeatable procedures.

Can the stations run different programs?+
Yes. Each of the four stations can be programmed independently, allowing different speed and time settings to be run simultaneously. Each station supports three sequential flash mix and flocculation stages, giving you flexibility to compare different mixing conditions within the same test.
Which jar size is right for my test?+
The 4G Platypus Jar Tester can be supplied with either 1 L or 2 L square jars. The most suitable size will depend on your testing method, required sample volume and process conditions. 2 L jars are also available with sample taps where supernatant sampling is required. We can help you select the most appropriate configuration for your application.
Can I order additional jars or a carry case?+
Yes. Additional and replacement 1 L and 2 L jars are available, including 2 L jars with sample taps. A heavy-duty carry case is also available for transporting and protecting the Jar Tester. Replacement paddles, power supplies and protective dust covers can also be supplied.
What power supply is included?+
The Jar Tester operates from a 15 VDC external power supply. The appropriate power supply and mains connection can be provided for the destination country. Please let us know where the equipment will be used when requesting a quotation.
Can the equipment be supplied internationally?+
Yes. Platypus Jar Testers can be supplied to customers internationally. We can confirm the appropriate power configuration, shipping arrangements and any destination-specific requirements as part of your quotation.
