Bench-scale DAF testing can help teams investigate whether flotation is suitable for a particular water and explore variables such as recycle conditions, saturation pressure, float formation and subnatant quality.
The current package is expected to include a 2 litre saturator vessel assembly, four DAF jar assemblies and a four-port distribution manifold with associated tubing. The Jar Tester and optional air compressor are shown separately.

Pressurised saturated water is prepared in the vessel, distributed to the jar assemblies and released under controlled test conditions. The resulting float and subnatant can then be observed and compared across the selected test variables.
Download the Operating Manual →Typical assessment areas may include DAF suitability, recycle-rate comparison, saturator pressure, subnatant quality, float cohesion and the interaction between chemical conditioning and flotation performance.
The accessories are intended for use with the Platypus Jar Tester and may be suitable for other jar testers where the required dimensions and operating setup can be confirmed. Share the existing equipment details before ordering if compatibility needs to be checked.
Check Compatibility →An approved oil-free air compressor and protective carry case may be available separately. Replacement DAF assemblies or manifold components should only be published as individual products when the current price list confirms they are sold separately.
